You can apply the following Product Catalog options to a customer to enable you to account for all resources used by a customer and generate bill using the rate define in Product Catalog options:

• Rate Lines

• Rate Packs

• Adjustments

If the Product Catalog options are applied to the selected customer, you can also modify the resource specific, adjustment or additional service specific cost according to your requirement.

All Product Catalog options applied to a customer are listed as Rate Cards that can be accessed from the Customer Profile tab. You can further modify them according to your requirements. For more details, see Managing customer specific rate cards.

You can apply a Product Catalog option to a customer in any one of the following ways:

• Apply a Product Catalog option to multiple customers

• Apply a Product Catalog option to a customer

1. On the side navigation bar, select the PRODUCT CATALOG tab, and click the required product catalog option:

   • Rate Lines

   • Rate Packs

   • Adjustments
     Aquila Clouds displays the page for the selected Product Catalog option.

2. Select the check box for one or more Product Catalog item.
   For instance, if you are on the Rate Lines page, you can select the check box for one or more rate line.

3. In the ACTION list, select Bulk Action > Apply.
   Aquila Clouds displays the Apply to Customers dialog box.

4. Select the required customers from the list and click Apply.

Aquila Clouds applies the selected Product Catalog option to the required customers.

1. On the side navigation bar, select the BILLING tab, and click Edit Bill.
   Aquila Clouds displays the Edit Bill page.

2. Select the required customer from the Customers list.

3. (Optional) Select the required billing cycle from the Billing Cycle list.

4. Click Apply.
   Aquila Clouds displays the billing details for the selected customers. This enables you to view the resource utilization costs, adjustment costs and other additional services costs if one or more Product Catalog options are already applied to the selected customer.

5. Click the following icon in the top right corner.

   Aquila Clouds displays the Product Catalog options.

6. Select the required Product Catalog option:

   • Rate Lines

   • Rate Packs

   • Adjustments
     Aquila Clouds displays the available items (Rate Lines, Rate Packs or Adjustments) for the selected Product Catalog option

7. Select the check box for the required item and in the ACTION list, select Edit Bill > Apply.

Aquila Clouds applies the selected Product Catalog option to the selected customer,

2. Select the required customer from the Customers list.

3. (Optional) Select the required billing cycle from the Billing Cycle list.

5. Click the following icon to expand the required resource.

   Aquila Clouds displays cost and other related details for the selected resource.

6. Modify the required detail.

7. Click Save.
   You can also click Reset to reset to original cost as defined using the Product Catalog option for the selected resource.

Aquila Clouds updates the resource cost according to the defined value.

   Aquila Clouds displays the Edit Bill page.

2. Select the required customer from the Customers list.

3. (Optional) Select the required billing cycle from the Billing Cycle list.

4. Click Apply.
   Aquila Clouds displays the billing details for the selected customers. This enables you to view the resource utilization costs, adjustment costs and other additional services costs if one or more Product Catalog options are already applied to the selected customer.

5. For the required adjustment, click the following icon and select Edit.

   Open

   

6. Edit the following details on the Edit Adjustment page.

   • Adjustment Name: Edit the name for the adjustment.

   • Active: Toggle on or off to set the adjustment to active or inactive state.

   • Adjustment Type: Select to the required adjustment type from the list to change the adjustment type.

   • Apply To: Select to modify whether the adjustment applies to the rate line or the bill. This field is not available for Manual adjustment.

   • Category: Select to modify the required category of resources for which the adjustment is to be provided. This field is not available for Manual adjustment.

   • SubCategory: Select to modify the required sub-category for which the discount is to be provided. This field is not available for Manual adjustment.

   • Name: Select to modify the name of the required resource from the list. This field is not available for Manual adjustment.

   • Resource: Select to modify the required resource from the list. This field is not available for Manual adjustment.

   • Season Start Date: Select to modify the start date from when this adjustment is applicable.

   • Season End Date: Select to modify the end date till when this adjustment is applicable.

   • Tag: Select to modify the tag for the adjustment. This field is not available for Manual adjustment.

   • Computation Type: Select to modify whether the adjustment amount is computed using percentage or it is flat. This field is not available for Manual adjustment.

   • Pricing Model: Select to modify the required pricing model from the list such i.e. Amount or Slab.

   • Fee: Modify the fee that is applicable for the selected resource. This option is available only if Amount is selected as the Pricing Model.

   • + Add: Click to add/modify slab rates. You can add one or more slabs or delete an existing slab. This option is available only if Slab is selected as the Pricing Model.

     • Slab 1: Modify the quantity of resources for the slab.

     • Rate: Modify the rate for the selected slab.

   • Comment: Modify the required comment (if any) for adjustment.

7. Click Save.

Aquila Clouds updates the adjustment with required details.
