You can define a new price pack that can be used for a customer or a group of customers. You can define a price pack for one or more resource. You can set a pack level rate or you can set pack item specific rates.

To create a Price Pack:

  1. On the side navigation bar, select the CSP BILLING tab, and click Billing Summary.

    • Aquila Clouds displays the Billing Summary page.

  2. On the top right corner, click Product Catalog and select Rate Pack.

  3. In the ACTION list, select Item > Add.

    • Aquila Clouds displays the Add Price Pack page.

  4. Enter the following details.

    • Pack Name: Enter the name for the price pack.

    • Environment Type: Select the required environment type from the list.

    • Currency: Select the required currency from the list.

    • Comment: Enter comments if any for this price pack.

    • 1: For the first resource set the following values.

      • Primary: Toggle this field to On if this resource is the primary resource in the price pack. The total price of the price pack is mainly based on Primary resource.

      • Category: Select the required category of the cloud resources being used by the end-customers. This makes it possible to use this price pack for all customers using the selected category of resources.

      • SubCategory: Select the required sub-category of the cloud resource being used by the end-customers. Options in this list are displayed according to the option selected in the Category list.

      • Resource Type or Name: Select the type or name of the required resource being used by the end-customer. Options in this list are displayed according to the option selected in the SubCategory list.

      • Unit: Select the unit from the list for which the billing rate is applicable. For instance, if you want to specify hourly billing rate for a Standard Node of Advanced Data Security > SQL Database, select Hourly from the list.

      • Included Quantity:

      • Pricing Model: Select the required pricing model from the list such i.e. Amount or Slab.

      • Current Amount: Enter the current amount that is applicable for the selected quantity of resources. This option is available only if Amount is selected as the Pricing Model.

      • New Amount: Enter the new amount that is applicable for the selected quantity of resources. This amount includes the amount defined in the Current Amount field and adjustment amount (if any). This option is available only if Amount is selected as the Pricing Model.

      • Slab 1: Define the quantity of resources for which this slab is applicable. This option is available only if Slab is selected as the Pricing Model.

      • Rate: Define the rate for the selected slab. This option is available only if Slab is selected as the Pricing Model.

      • +Add: Click to add more slabs.

    • +: Click to add details of required resources that are to be included in this rate pack. You can use this option to add more than one resource in the pack.

    • x: Click to close the required resource set.

    • Rate: Enter the rate applicable for this pack item. This rate is applicable for the resource count according to the specified interval.

    • Quantity: Enter the quantity of resources for which the rate pack is applicable.

  5. Click Apply.

Aquila Clouds creates the price pack with the required details.
