Aquila Clouds platform enables you to define a rate line to be charged for any resource utilization by any customer or you . You can also modify and reuse any existing rate line. Whenever you modify any rate line, Aquila Clouds creates another version of the rate line with the same name instead of overwriting the existing rate line. This enables you to view and use the old rates if they are still applicable. You can use a slab based or an amount based pricing model. A slab based model enables you to charge for resources based on utilization volume.
Rate lines are generically added in the product catalog. They can then be applied to customers to create rate cards for those customers specifically. Once applied to a customer, you can modify a rate card without affecting resource rates of other customers for which the same rate line has been used. For more details about how to apply a rate line to a customer, see Apply a Product Catalog option to a customer. For more details about how to edit a rate card for a customer, see Managing customer specific rate cards.
