Managing customer specific rate cards

All rate lines and rate packs applied to a customer get listed as a rate card on the Rate Cards page. You can edit or delete these rate cards for any customer to manage customer specific rates. You can have one or more rate cards for a customer depending on the rate lines and rate packs applied to a customer.

This topic explains you to:

Edit a customer specific rate card

  1. On the side navigation bar, select the CUSTOMER PROFILE tab, and click Rate Cards.
    Aquila Clouds displays the Rate Cards page.

  2. Select the required customer from the Customer list.

  3. Select the cloud provider from the Provider Type and click Apply.
    Aquila Clouds displays customer specific details on the Rate Cards page.

     

  4. Click the following icon and select Edit:

  5. Edit the following fields on the Edit Rate Card page:

    • Environment Type: Select from the list required environment type to modify the environment type.

    • Currency: Select from the list required currency to modify the currency.

    • Region: Select from the list required geographical region to modify the region.

    • Category: Select from the list required category to modify the category of cloud resources being used by the end-customers.

    • SubCategory: Select from the list required sub-category to modify the sub-category of cloud resources being used by the end-customers. Options in this list are displayed according to the option selected in the Category list.

    • Name: Select from the list name of the required resource to modify the resource being used by the end-customer. Options in this list are displayed according to the option selected in the Sub-Category list.

    • Pricing Model: Select the required pricing model from the list to modify the pricing model.

    • Unit: Select from the list required unit to modify the unit.

    • Current Amount: Modify the current amount that is applicable for the selected quantity of resources. This option is available only if Amount is selected as the Pricing Model.

    • Adjustment:

      • Operator: Modify the operator for the adjustment value that will be applied on the current amount.

      • Currency or percentage: Select currency or percentage to modify the adjustment value that will be applied on the current amount.

      • Value: Modify the value of the adjustment amount that will applied on the current amount.

    • New Amount: Aquila Clouds displays the new amount that is applicable for the selected quantity of resources. This amount is calculated using the amount defined in the Current Amount field and Adjustment field. This option is displayed only if Amount is selected as the Pricing Model.

    • Comment: Edit or enter comments if any for this rate card.

  6. Click Save.

Aquila Clouds updates the rate card with the required details.

Delete a customer specific rate card

  1. On the side navigation bar, select the CUSTOMER PROFILE tab, and click Rate Cards.
    Aquila Clouds displays the Rate Cards page.

  2. Select the required customer from the Customer list.

  3. Select the cloud provider from the Provider Type and click Apply.
    Aquila Clouds displays customer specific details on the Rate Cards page.

     

  4. Click the following icon and select Delete.

  5. Click I Understand, Delete.

Aquila Clouds deletes the selected rate card.
