Managing settings for billing

You can manage the setting for customizing the following:

  • Default Billing Cycle: This is the default billing cycle for your organization. If cloud service provider specific billing cycles are not defined, this cycle is used for all supported cloud configurations.

  • Default Billing Cycle - AWS: This is AWS specific billing cycle for your organization. This can be used for all AWS specific customers. If a value is defined for the AWS specific billing cycle and default billing cycle for organization, the value defined for AWS specific billing cycle is used for all AWS specific customers.

  • Default Billing Cycle - Azure: This is Azure specific billing cycle for your organization. This can be used for all Azure specific customers. If a value is defined for the Azure specific billing cycle and default billing cycle for organization, the value defined for Azure specific billing cycle is used for all Azure specific customers.

  • Default Billing Cycle - Azure Stack: This is Azure Stack specific billing cycle for your organization. This can be used for all Azure specific customers. If a value is defined for the Azure specific billing cycle and default billing cycle for organization, the value defined for Azure specific billing cycle is used for all Azure specific customers.

  • Default Currency: This is the default currency for your organization. If cloud service provider specific billing currency is not defined, this currency is used for all supported cloud configurations.

  • Default Currency - AWS: This is AWS specific currency for your organization. This can be used for all AWS specific customers. If the AWS specific currency and default billing cycle for organization are defined, the AWS specific currency is used for all AWS specific customers.

  • Default Currency - Azure: This is Azure specific currency for your organization. This can be used for all Azure specific customers. If the Azure specific currency and default billing cycle for organization are defined, the Azure specific currency is used for all Azure specific customers.

  • Default Currency - Azure Stack: This is Azure Stack specific currency for your organization. This can be used for all Azure Stack specific customers. If the Azure Stack specific currency and default billing cycle for organization are defined, the Azure Stack specific currency is used for all Azure Stack specific customers.

  • Default Margin: This default margin for the organization. This applied to all customers.

To manage settings for billing

  1. On the side navigation bar, select the ADMINISTRATION tab, and click Settings.
    Aquila Clouds displays the Settings page.

  2. For the required alert, in the Edit column, click the following icon:

  3. Edit the following fields depending on the setting selected for edit:

    • Default Billing Cycle:

      • Active: Toggle on or off to set the default billing cycle for the organization to active or inactive state.

      • Start Date: Select the start date for the default billing cycle for the organization.

      • End Date: Select the end date for the default billing cycle for the organization.

    • Default Billing Cycle - AWS:

      • Active: Toggle on or off to set the default billing cycle for AWS to active or inactive state.

      • Start Date: Select the start date for the default billing cycle for AWS.

      • End Date: Select the end date for the default billing cycle for AWS.

    • Default Billing Cycle - Azure:

      • Active: Toggle on or off to set the default billing cycle for Azure to active or inactive state.

      • Start Date: Select the start date for the default billing cycle for Azure.

      • End Date: Select the end date for the default billing cycle for Azure.

    • Default Billing Cycle - Azure Stack:

      • Active: Toggle on or off to set the default billing cycle for Azure Stack to active or inactive state.

      • Start Date: Select the start date for the default billing cycle for Azure Stack.

      • End Date: Select the end date for the default billing cycle for Azure Stack.

    • Default Currency:

      • Active: Toggle on or off to set the default currency for the organization to active or inactive state.

      • Default Currency: Select the currency for the organization.

    • Default Currency - AWS:

      • Active: Toggle on or off to set the default currency for AWS to active or inactive state.

      • Default Currency: Select the currency for AWS.

    • Default Currency - Azure:

      • Active: Toggle on or off to set the default currency for Azure to active or inactive state.

      • Default Currency: Select the currency for Azure.

    • Default Currency - Azure Stack:

      • Active: Toggle on or off to set the default currency for Azure Stack to active or inactive state.

      • Default Currency: Select the currency for Azure Stack.

    • Default Margin:

      • Active: Toggle on or off to set the default margin for the organization to active or inactive state.

      • Default Margin: Type a value for the default margin for the organization.

  4. Click Save.

Aquila Clouds updates the setting for billing.
