Managing billing with ERP Integration
Currently Aquila Clouds BillOps supports the following ERP integration:
ConnectWise PSA, formerly Manage
We will support the following in the near future, including:
Microsoft Navision
Oracle ERP
With ERP integration, users can configure BillOps to send data at different granularities:
Aggregated by Categories (Agent Type = Rollup by Categories)
With different data granularities, the billing views are different. See this link for how to navigate to the desired billing views.
Just like billing without ERP integration, BillOps automatically ingests cloud billing data from data sources represented by different environments and organizes the data for the end customers in different bills. One important aspect for ERP integration is to map the customers to the companies and agreements in the ERP system. See below:
Agreement mapping for ConnectWise PSA, formerly Manage
It is only after the agreement mapping is done that the customer data can be linked to the proper company / agreement in ERP.
Besides agreement mapping, it is important to have the product names mapped to the proper descriptions. In case of rolling up by categories, the descriptions are the categories. In case of rolling up by SKU Names, the descriptions are the SKU names along with the categories. See below for how to map the product names.
